It is also worth visiting the chapel of Panagia Faneromeni, which is the most important ancient monument in the area, which dates back to the 16th century. The picturesque chapel attracts thousands of visitors due to its beautiful location and its history. It was built after the apparition of the Virgin Mary, on the sea, at the point where the Miraculous Icon, which is located inside the church, emerged from the sea.
